Through reflective questions and intentional expression, we’ll not only practice past tenses and storytelling tools—we’ll also give ourselves permission to reframe, re-author, and renew our life narrative from a place of truth and strength.

Reflection Question 🌱
¿Cuál ha sido uno de los capítulos más significativos de tu vida? ¿Cómo lo contarías en español, y qué has aprendido de él?
What has been one of the most meaningful chapters in your life? How would you tell it in Spanish, and what have you learned from it?
Consider writing down your thoughts in Spanish to warm up for the event!💡

Beyond Language ✨
"Stories shape the way we see ourselves. But often, the stories we repeat come from pain, misunderstanding, or fear.
What if learning a new language gave you the chance to retell your life with compassion? What if Spanish became the language not of who you were—but of who you’re becoming?
To speak is to shape. To rewrite is to heal. And through storytelling, we don’t just learn grammar—we reclaim our voice.”
Rewrite Your Narrative in Spanish
-
Choose one life chapter and write it in Spanish (past tense). Try to focus on what changed, what hurt, what healed.
-
Reread it and highlight your strength. “Sobreviví.” / “Aprendí.” / “Tomé una decisión valiente.”
-
Now rewrite the same story from a new perspective. “Lo que parecía un final fue en realidad un nuevo comienzo.”
-
Share it aloud in the session, if you feel called. Let your voice reclaim your story.
Spanish is not just for telling stories—it’s for transforming them.
