Welcome to this ElayaaHUB Spanish conversation event!

Today we will explore how fear expresses itself in our language—and how, with awareness, we can shift our words and energy from limitation to possibility.

In this session, you’ll discover how to catch disempowering phrases like “No puedo” (I can’t) and gently transform them into new declarations of self-trust and movement, like “Estoy creando una manera” (I’m creating a way).

We’ll practice Spanish expressions that help you identify fear-based thinking and build a vocabulary of growth, empowerment, and aligned action.

What limiting phrases do you tend to say to yourself when you’re afraid? How could you transform them into empowering affirmations—in Spanish?

Consider writing down your thoughts in Spanish to warm up for the event!💡

Beyond Language ✨

"Fear speaks in limitation. But your spirit speaks in possibility.

The words ‘no puedo’ might feel like facts—but often, they’re just echoes from a scared part of your past. When you change your language, you offer that part a new path.

Learning Spanish isn’t just about grammar—it’s about remembering that you are never stuck. You are still writing your story. And every time you say, ‘Estoy creando una manera,’ you take back your voice.

You don’t need to be fearless. You only need to speak like someone who believes in their next step.

Fear Reframe Exercise

  1. Write down 3 fear-based sentences you’ve thought or said recently (in Spanish or your native language).“Nunca lo lograré.” / “Voy a equivocarme.”

  2. Translate them into Spanish and identify their emotional tone. “No puedo hablar en público.” → Tone: Nervous, doubtful.

  3. Now reframe them consciously in Spanish. “Estoy aprendiendo a expresarme con confianza.”

  4. Practice saying them aloud slowly, as a mantra. Let your nervous system feel the difference.

Words don’t just describe what you feel—they also reshape it. Let’s shift from “I can’t” to “I’m creating a way.”
